<HTML>Hello all,
I was just looking at the Events on this day section,
and noticed U-4707 was laid down- 5 Dec, 1944.
Commissioned- 20 Feb, 1945. About two and a half months to
build. My question is, how did they build them that quickly
still, when i thought Germany was bombed \"flat\"?
It is amazing when you come to think of it.
The war was almost at an end.
Regards, Vin.
