| There were no casulties aboard the Brema and this could have been atributed to the fact that the S.S. Lonfanny managed to rescue all of the ships company. The Captain of the Lonfanny Capt E.W. Flory and his officers and men received a letter of thanks from the Admiralty Coasting Trade Office, signed by E.R.Newbigin.(Les Roberts by email)
