Matt,
Just purchased a Type VII C from Sheerline Model Submarines in England. Paid 540 Pounds Sterling for the boat. Have not started it yet as I am just putting the finisjing touches on launching my French Surcouf 1:60 scale. I will say the from a preliminary examination, the Sheerline model is a very good quality hull and fittings. Probably won't launch til next summer. By the way, I purchase the Surcouf from DeBoer Hulls in South Dakota. An excellent quality hull which cost me $450. So far I've put another $1500 dollars into detailing and completeing the mechanicals on this boat.
