Matt,

I visited 32nd Parallel yesterday. I too was interested in the Type VIIc but was put off by the sheer size & complexity of the kit. My modelling skills are not too advanced but mainly I doubted that I could easily transport the finished model to sailing locations. Instead I opted for a Type XXIII 'de Luxe' kit which has the gas ballast system and a Torpedo firing kit. At an affordable $704 and a manageable 43" length I hope it will be the best proposition for my introduction to r/c submarines.

Should be able to confirm in a few months when I manage to get it built !!

Kevin
