All this communication on U-99, no wonder the DE's (destroyer Escorts) could find us! Really as most everyone knows I have been on a mission for a type IX-C U-boat model in 1/72 scale that is detailed and accurate. I did a survey to see if anyone else was interested so I could start contacting the model companys. To date I did not make any positive contacts with any companys except Revell. They advised my request would be forwarded to the design department for consideration.

Does this sound like something the german navy went through? Well I strongly suggest everyone write to Revell and start making requests. They have the most models on the market right now of German U-Boats and if they start hearing from others maybe we can make some progress. You can get the address by looking up Revel Models on the internet.
