RE: Type XX1 deisel exhaust?

The deisel exhaust ports are found on both port and starboard sides at around frame 17. These ports had a somewhat rounded sheetmetal cover with the opening facing towards the stern of the boat. Pictures of this can be found in many U-boat books such as THE TYPE XXI U-BOAT by FRITZ KOHL.
