Hi Uwe:
Welcome to the world of Radio Controlled submarines. First thing you need to do is join "THE SUBCOMMITTEE" for just $26.00 a year; you will get 4 extremely fine magazines every year. Check out their website at [www.subcommittee.com] you can find out a lot of information in their "search the boards" section.
Abe Taubman Plans Service International, 11 College Drive #4G, Jersey City, New Jersey 07305, phone #201-435-5205 has a set of 1:40 scale U-995 a Type-VIIc/41 plans that are pretty nice for around $35.00 usd; they are 4ea. Sheets 74 ½†X 36â€.
I also have the above said planrolle. The "Type-VIIC planrolle" comes in 10 ea. 33 1/2" X 23 1/2" sheets. They are the exact same blueprints as in the rear of the book "Vom Original zum Modell: Uboottyp VIIC", just on bigger sheets of paper. The plans are in 1:100, 1:20, 1:15, and 1:5 scale, there is also some that don't even give you the scale. I hope that you can find a set.
Good Luck and Good Hunting,
Jerry Pope, member The Subcommittee and SubCommDeepSouth
