This is of course personal opinion but I beleive 1/200 scale will become the scale of choice for U-Boat models in the future. Not only are the Nichimo boats well designed kits but as models go they are reasonably accurate. There is at least one company making type IIs, type XXIs and Type Is in 1/200 scale to match the type IXBs and Cs of Nichimo.
