While I concur with you that the Revell kit is inaccuate in many respects, it should be remembered that the kit is now quite old (dating from the 1970\'s or earlier) and the majority of the kit buying public at that time were in the main children, who wouldn\'t have been aware of the faults. Things have improved in the last ten years or so (viz the Revell Type XXI) and I recall building the Hasegawa Type IXB and C which went together well and looked the part. The only other VII kit that I am aware of is made by Heller of France to 1/400 scale and is also getting a bit long in the tooth. There is also a large scale kit of U 47 in resin but the cost is quite high. If anyone knows of any other U boat kits I would be interested to hear from you.
