As far as I know you cannot use this type of radio . For our use you must use a \" surface use \" freq. of 75 mhz . Most are AM but my JR radio was converted from an \"air use \", i.e . plane and helicoptor freq. to \"surface use \". this way you will not bring down a near by RC airplane when sailing your boat .
