Hi Greg,
the only thing representing the fairing outer door on plan 6 is the line of the semi-circle and the writing under the stern \"Nische fuer Torpedoklappe - Nische wassserdicht (niche for torpedo flap - niche watertight). It so happens, this niche or stowage compartment for the opened outer door is NOT at all watertight, but freeflooding.
First Kits of U995/VIIc will be here in DC in a little over a month. My own IXc ought to be here abt 1 mo later. Rgds, RB
