Hi Jeff,
You seem to be a real U-boat model fan. I am glad to write to such a person.
I am now going to answer to your questions, but I\'d like to say first that what I am writing here is just my personal opinions and what I heard from the company man responsible. So, it is not the official statement of the company.
OK, here we go!
The company man said to me that they will sell some parts separatelly, but I don\'t know which and how much unfortunately. The basic kit is available he said, too.
I heard the company analyzed the original drawing of the type VIIC using CAD and then manufactured the first test shot using CAM. So, I think the hull line or the propotion is very accurate(no deformation).
Next. The rivets....oh, the rivets are not included in the kit. I think it is last room to be done by the modelers.
The slots of the hull and deck are already cut out except for that of the bow part.
Only one I want to point out is the pattern of the slots below the bow is different from the VIIC early. It seems rather that of VIIC late......In this point this model can\'t be called \"perfect\", but anyway this is the best U-boat model ever manufactured, I think.
If you have any more questions, you better ask the company directly:

Hitoshi
