Fore and aft deck vents

Hello, I'm building large type II, and would like to know : does anyone have few close up picts of the fore and aft decks on U-Boats? From the picts I have they look perforated? I'm sure there was some vents in there, but does whole thing have even holes in it? any pict would be great.
