HI Achin,
I have been building models for years (I'm 62) and I never had a problem with the German Emblems on my models. I have a Messerschmitt BF-109 F0 (42" wing span), and a FW-190 E8 RAM (48" wing span) which have been taken to several model shows. Neither model is from a kit, both are scratch built of solid white Aspin wood. There is a large Swastika on both sides of the vertical rudders and nothing was ever said. Today, they both hang from the ceiling in my Library. In fact, most German models had the Swastikas and Crosses when appropriate at the model show. This year, I completed the OTW Designs (England) radio controlled Type VIIc 1/32 scale U-boat (Almost 7 feet long). It has a photo etched brass conning tower and deck. My model was built to represent U-96 (Das Boot) with the laughing sawfish on both sides of the conning tower and flies the German Battle Flag from the winter garden.... Some people just take PC (Political Correctness) to the extreem and that serves no purpose! Build your model and make it as authentic as you like, and enjoy it...
Regards,
Don_
