USS Indianapolis

Hello everybody!
I'm building a 1/700 scale model of the heavy cruiser Indianapolis in 1945: quite an easy work, but I didn't managed to get informations about the deck's painting scheme; I've just found a pair of photos.
I know that the wood deck was left unpainted; but the steel deck, wich I suppose was to be painted in dark grey, seems to be of the same light grey of the lateral surfaces.
Can anybody tell me of wich color were those decks?
