Type IIA colours

I am modelling a Mirage's 1/400 type IIA U-boot. The model should represent an U-2 of Reichsmarine in 1935. I have one side photo and have concluded that the colours were light grey top and dark red-brown bottom of the ship. But I am not sure what should the deck colour be. Could the colour be the same light grey as conning tower and upper sides or should it be dark grey instead?

Any suggestions or information?
