Revell's 1/144 Type VIID

I picked up my example at the beginning of the month from my local model shop, so I am guessing that it's on general release.

The parts are nicely moulded and I would think are scaled down from the 1/72 VIIC judging by the parts breakdown on the conning tower. I think a VIIC may follow as there is an alternative deck piece mentioned in the instructions (though cut off the sprue) as not being for use.
