Thanks Russ for the Information.

Yours calculations are pretty darn close to the lengths of the models descibed on the boxes.

The gato is 659.9 millimeter = 25.98 inches

and the Type VIID is 53.1 centimeter = 20.90 inches

As per your message I thrilled that these two kits are rather scaled models in 1:144. They will look good side by side.
