Wally,
I cut .040" strien circles about ever inch to one side of the hull to match the inner hull and covered with .040" strips. Seems like a lot of work but went fairly fast. I have changed the process a bit for the second boat, by being able to remove the framing from the hulls and make the sanding easier. Just a note; the yankee product shows flat areas in the pressure hull which is not done. And does not have any allowance for the sadle tanks. I also coose to thin the kit deck to make it see thru instead of using the already purchased wood deck. Believe it or not, I can see much more of the trunking and GOD modeling.
