The book of Eberhard Roesler lays out in great detail how the subs were developed and he ends the book with eleven pages of highly detailed technical drawings. Now, as I mentioned in the previos post, this book is about typ-II boats, but on the first page of the book there are references to a number of other books about other types of German uboats and, I believe, in the same detail. Some examples:
