I have a 1/32 scale type VII that is now over twenty years old & needing a serious refit, the deck gun is not too bad but reflects the info available at the time of first build. I now wish to make a serious & acurate model to adorn the deck of my old tub. There are a few kits out there but they are not quite dead on so the best way for me is to measure up the real thing and do it myself.
I am told that there is a survivor at Cuxhaven so I intend to drive over this spring and check it out.
Can anyone confirm where exactly it is located in Cuxhaven or any other survivors out there and if the museum has a web address.
