Revell U-99 Humbrol Enamels and Tamiya Lacquers - Advice please.

Greetings,
First, I would like to thank everyone who responded to my earlier post. Very helpful indeed. Second, I've done the hull of my U-99 (1/144) with Tamiya sprays (Gunship Metal and AS-2 Light Grey).
My question is, will the Humbrol Enamels work with these Tamiya Lacquers. I know you can't apply acrylics and enamels ( they're incompatible), but I was wondering if the Tamiya sprays and enamels can be used together. I'm asking because I would like to do the detail-oriented parts of the model by hand, and I would like to use a series of Humbrol Enamels.
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Yannis
