Basically I built a LEGO Type VIIC U-Boat as accurately as I could. Its about 60 inches long, about 3 or so inches wide and weighs about 12 pounds.
When i built it, I used a camouflage scheme similar (but not identical) to the one represented on the Revell U-201 kit.
I also added a Schnorkel, just to make it a bit more interesting.
I left off the net cutter as i had already done one on my earlier model of the U-106 (taken apart and used to build this one)
Its hard to find pictures of submarines from world war 2, well at least for me so i am wondering if anybody knows of a WW2 Kriegsmarine U-boat without a net cutter, equipped with a schorkel and painted in some form of camouflage? I am simply looking for a name for the model. Once i get decent Internet, which could be never....I will try to get pictures up.
Here is a link to my U-106 built about 2 years ago
