U683/ Late war VIIc conning tower arrangements

Hello All,
I have been trying to find specific information about U683 in particular. I share the last name of the commander and have decided to model it. I don't have much for information about KL Keller either, just that I believe he flew He115's during the required 3 year stint when the Luftwaffe took over all Kriegsmarine aircraft.
I would like to find out the conning tower arrangement and schnorkel equipment used for the U683 or better yet if there is a reference book detailing each boat's configurations and/or armament it would be awesome.
