Hi Petr,
I built an OTW 1/32 Type VIIc R/C U-Boat (U-96) and I used three strands of wire from a computer SCSI disc cable. You need to remove the silver plated wire from the flat ribbon cable. The SCSI wire is twisted together and looks very real. In addition, over time the silver will tarnish to give it even a better look. If you can't wait for the natural tarnish process, then you can use some gun blue to darken the silver coating. I don't know if it will work for a 1/72 sacle model, but it may bw worth looking into the possibility.
