I'm not sure that the floor was originally rubber. Now it is a museum ship and the safety of the visitors is vital, so there is a modern, contemporary, black rubber carpet.

You think of the tubes that are on the walls separating the rooms from each other?
I think you could give them a wash first and then drybrush with a very light grey or even with white. You can paint the rooms with the crew's bunks are to a wood-like colour.

I can see on my photos that the tubes, wiring, etc. have the same colour as the wall. Nowadays the colors are depending on the room. But I doubt that their colours are the same as they originally were.
