I'm pleased with my progress on Revell's 1/72 Type IX, and have begun detailing the false pressure hull I've added. The limber holes are open, the tank tops are in place, and I have the silhouettes of the torpedo loading hatches, conning tower, and remnant deck gun foundation in place. I'll be adding a row of compressed air tanks later, as well as the pairs of deck fairing frames that are visible inside each limber hole. I've been working from one of the very few Type IX basic diagrams I've found on the net, but it doesn't include diesel air intake or exhaust plumbing that I'm certain would be visible through the holes. Does anyone have any Type IX drawings available? There's a lot more sunlight I need to block! Thanks
