Crates for torpedos

Hi!
I have a question regarding transportation of new torpedos during ww2 (primarily german torps). How was they stored during transport to the harbors? In wooden crates, one by one or perhaps by two´s?? In metal crates? Perhaps there could be some pictures?

I´ve googled the matter all day but have had no luck so far!
