Re-Fuel Underwater

I have read that U460 was fueled underwater.That both U-boats mover through that water together, in line aster, the tanker towing U445. Both boats kept in touch with their hydroplanes, before resurfacing after three hours, the refueling complete.I think the refueling boat (Milk Cow)was U460.Is this true? Are the the U-boat (U460 and U445) correct? Did this really happen?
