Hi Don,
Thank you for the input,I think you are right about the possibility of the paperwork being around someplace.The clock hung in my fathers butcher shop for 40 years!
Its still ticking but needs a new spring-hows that for German Engineering!
Do you think I should bother Gudmundur with this? I'm new to this site?
I have located a list of possible boats that went to the UK-mostly to Scotland and mine will be one of them.I have my fathers account of the boats coming in(he was in the Navy)Stil trying to locate Loch Eriboll as descibed in the U Boats NET.
