Most of the guns used on the U-boats had too confirm with the
open sea conditions...especially with sea salt corrosion which can be
a problem to armaments on these boats. Most guns for the U-boat arm
were design and develop to be pressure proof when underwater, as it
was mention on this topic before.
This is why these guns are more appropriate to be used on ships
and submarines or any other type of boat.
