Hi Glenn,
the so-called Schnee Orgeln were sets of torpedo tubes (3) arranged P+S pointing abt. 10 degrees off C/L aft intended to give the later types XXI aft shooting capabilities. XXIB 6 tubes, XXIC 12 tubes in addition to the 6 forward pointing tubes. Later Walter boats XXVI/A/B were to be equipped with 3 each P+S.
