Film: "Das Boot"- Engine or Motor speed Orders from control Rm. sent to Eng.& Mtr. Rm.via Telegraph levers.Change in lever position in Control Rm. actuates flashing light(s) until Eng.or Mtr.Rm. answers to same lever position thus canceling flashing light(s) confirming exact order executed correctly. Anyone know of a diagram of these flashing Lt. circuits? or an accurate description of their operation-what caused the flashing? I know there are "Flashing Buttons" inserted into the socket base of incandescent lamps. But I would think a type VII boat would need something better.
