The knoledge base available on this forum is enormous. Thanks everybody for educating landbased okes whose experience is limited to a rubber duck with a 35hp motor.
My Question..When running those two enormous diesels they must have sucked in a very large volume of fresh air.Am i right in thinking that there must have been an opening to supply them with air. Where was it situated and how was it handled when diving.?
There must also have been an opening for the exhaust pipes.Where were they and how were they sealed for diving?
Were there any smoke from these exhaust pipes or was it limited in a way?
With the boat being a totally sealed system air movement in and out must have been quite a problem
Thanks in advance for your help.
Johan.
