Is it true that the fresh air intake valves could deliberately be left closed when running the diesels--thus forcing the air to come from the open hatch which would air out the boat?
Is it also true that the diesel exhaust could be diverted to the ballast tanks for the dual purpose of saving compressed air when emptying the tanks as well as the exhaust lubricating the various valves?
I believe I have read the above, but do not know if true.
