Thanks a bunch! Yes it helps, but if you could help a bit more...I have a few other questions to pick your brain about.

1-Did the type VII or IX have pumps that could pump overboard, or from tank to tank?

2-Was there more internal trim tanks than bow and stern buoyancy? Any tanks in the middle?

3-How many actual watertight compartments were the 7\'s or 9\'s divided into?

Thanks again, this is very helpful. If I am a pain, could you tell me what your reference is, it appears to have everything I need. Thank you very much.
