I would recommend you buy the two books U-Boat Operations of the Second World War by Kenneth Wynn.


U-960 Type VIIc

5-Patrols
2-Ships Sunk and 1-Damaged

sunk

SS Archangel 2480 tons
M/S Trawler TSC-42

She was attacked and damaged by two Mosquitos of 618 Squardron on 3/19/44

U-616 Type VIIc

9-Patrols
0-Ships sunk
1-Destroyer

note-the longest three day hunt for any U-boat by destroyers was for U-616

U-371 Type VIIc

19-Patrols-WOW
9-Ships sunk
1-Destroyer Sunk
1-Minesweeper
1-A/S Trawler
