deck plans

where can i find deck plans and schematics for type VII and IX. i am confused about the attack scope location. i am requesting info. that will clear up my confusion over the difference and significance of the scope in the control room and the area and scope in the conning tower. the conning tower area appears to only have room to facilitate two men at best. is this the attack scope and the area where attacks are carried out? finally, could and were attacks made from the control room?
