Hi Ludovic,
By process of elimination, it cannot be U876, since she was scuttled in Eckernfoerde. I tend to agree with you, that it likely is a type 9d2. Also the enlarged photo shows clearly enough, that she had the foreship conversion. 9d2 U872 was bombed and sunk in Bremen. It could be the one, but I have yet to check if there were any converted 9c types lost to bomb attack between Bremen and Bremerhafen before adding U872. Rgds, RB
