Since I do not study Japanese subs much the only book that I have to find anything on the I-52 was UBOOTE IM 2.WELTKRIEG TECHNIK-KLASSEN-TYPEN by ERMINIO BAGNASCO . My version is in German but it is printed in English and easily found in most book stores . The I-52 was a type C , variante C3 . Sorry , but this is the best direction I could point you in .
