I am writing a novel about war time england, and any information about u boats, draught, torpedoes types, crew strengths,. The sort of boat that would operate in the Irish sea 1939-1941. U boat types in the North sea 1939-1942.
Also submerged depth and operating time.
Length and beam plus top speed.
Also any information as to rank on the ships.
The biggest U boat built in 1942.
