Type IX vs Type VII

I am building 1 Radio Controled 1:32nd scale German U-505, and i am having a problem locating a set of front dive plane protectors and start onse as well For my Type IX, i can get them and the proppeller Shaft set up for the type VII , Queationsis
Will the diveplane protectors and propellor shaft stuff for the Type VII work on the Type IX Uboats
