Ludovic,
The grey wolves series by Chronos films U.K. shows a fuel transfer , the M.C. from memory had a stand pipe arrangement which conneted to a flexible pipe the end of which appears to be within a protected slieve to prevent it being damaged...the connectio to the other boat was not shown but I assume it must have ben similar.
The stand pipe so to speak was on approx. 2 ft. or so high.
