I recently purchased uboat Zeiss 7x50 Uboat glass BLC serial number BLc 45534.
My glasses don't have provision to secure the Benutzer rain guard to them in the usual manner, just half round smooth head. Looking at the glasses standing in an upright position in profile, the head of the pin/bolt has a shank 2mm in height, the profile a little like a mushroom with a stubby leg, is the best way I can describe it. Was there a benutzer made with a clamp or o/ring that would have clamped on the head of the pin/bolt or sit on the top of the shank in the form of a rubber ring under the head of the said pin/bolt.
