Have never heard of a Wind generator on a U-boat of WWII. Talked to many U-boat men and officers. Sadly most are all gone. The batteries were charged by the diesels on the surface until they added the "asparagus" late in the war. And a calm sea was hoped for so all didn't get their ear drums pulled from their heads.
