<HTML>Hello David,

Just some trivia, but who knows...
5.05.1943 WENSLEYDALE and Polish destroyers PIORUN and ORKAN left Plymouth while escorting VALIANT to Clyde. All three returned to Plymouth on 7.05 before noon. (Polish sources)
22.10.1943: WENSLEYDALE sailed with CHARYBDIS, GRENVILLE, ROCKET, LIMBOURNE, STEVENSTONE, TALYBONT to attack a convoy near the French coast, which included the German ship MUNSTERLAND; CHARYBDIS was lost during that action. (WS 67)
4.08.1944: WENSLEYDALE, STAYNER, OFFA and ROWLEY attacked and sank U671 off Beachy Head. (WS 81)

Best regards,
Marek</HTML>
