<HTML>I served in this ship from her commissioning in May, 1944 until March 1947. This photo was taken on the seaward side of the Forth Bridge, Queensferry, Edinburgh, either just before or just after a major refit at Rosyth, perhaps in December, 1944. Her scruffy appearance is due to the several anti-submarine patrols we had been doing off Ireland and Scotland. Before that, we had been involved in Russian convoys JW59 and RA JW59A, during which our sistership Kite was torpedoed.</HTML>
