Hello,
I live in the village of Bow in Devon. The local historical society is organising an event to mark the end of the war. The event will include a wide range of aspects of the village during the time.
The local primary school has a plaque representing HMS Snowdrop (K67), "adopted" by the village during the war. I have found some basic details from the Allied Warships site but would be grateful for any furtehr information. Her servive, how "adoption" worked etc.
I hope you can help or direct me towards any other likely sources
Many thanks
Dave Farrell
