Thanks for this Cynthia. My uncle George Lloyd was a Marine on HMS Trinidad, survivor of the first torpedo strike which killed so many Bandsmen. We are working on a biography, and I wonder if you have any pictures of your Dad at the barracks before Trinidad sailed? I have a few photos of the bandies playing at the barracks, but there may be more out there somewhere. My uncle George died 10 years ago, but I recently sent off for an Arctic Star medal after I read that it was awarded about 60 years after the event! Best wishes, Bill Lloyd
