My grandfather went down on the Marigold too. Assuming you guys know everything on this site already, the only additional info I can offer is that, Jill, your granddad's name should be on the Chatham War Memorial which is a beautifully kept and very fitting memorial to our grandparents. The Commonwealth War Dead website (www.cwgc.org) will tell you the details! I have emailed you independently to establish contact and hopefully we can share info as we find it.

Jim, if your dad has any images or stories, I would love to see/hear them! Unfortunately, as you know, my grandfather is not one of the survivors that you seek but contact with regardless would be fantastic mate.
